My healthcare career began in emergency medical services (EMS) as a paramedic, where rapid assessment, critical thinking, and attention to detail could determine a patient's outcome within minutes.
I later advanced into nursing, providing direct patient care in Intensive Care (ICU), Progressive Care (PCU), Medical-Surgical, Stepdown, and Acute Dialysis settings. Throughout my career, I have cared for patients with complex medical conditions requiring advanced interventions, including ECMO, mechanical ventilation, cardiac arrest resuscitation, stroke management, oxygen therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, and other critical care treatments.
Today, I apply that real-world clinical experience as a Legal Nurse Consultant, helping attorneys navigate medically complex cases through comprehensive medical record review, medical chronologies, case summaries, and medical-legal analysis. I identify key clinical findings, recognize deviations from standards of care, organize thousands of pages of medical records into clear, chronological reports, and translate complex medical terminology into practical legal insight.
